Job Title: Personnel Officer
Key Responsibilities:
Manages the preparation and validation of payroll data and work effectively with the finance function to ensure timely and accurate payment of salaries and allowances.
Handles all appropriate award provisions in relation to overtime, shift allowances
Coordinates and resolves discrepancies with the Social Security authorities.
Manages NSSF registration & declarations & discrepancies
Participates in the preparation of insurance coverage plans in coordination with the HR manager and the companys insurance brokers.
Deals with minor pay queries.
Maintains leave and sickness/accident records.
Oversees the operation of processes for early retirement and voluntary severance.
Prepares annual goals and budgets for the Personnel HR function to submit to the HR management planning process.
Maintains job evaluation system and personnel records.
Administers company salaries and benefits programs.
Participates in preparing and monitoring succession plans in terms of Emplyee transfers and Compensations & Benefits.
Advises Management on staff conditions.
Counsels employees and providing advice on staff matters
Interprets awards.
Willing to handle challenges and provide quality solutions on time and within company budget.
Willing to establish and maintain effective working relationships with managers and employees.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelors Degree in Business or related field / HR orientation is an asset
Minimum 3 - 5 years experience in personnel function
COMPUTER SKILLS:
Proficient in Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Arabic & English literacy
